TedBundty’s New 2.5% Buy and Sell Calculator

Hey everybody. I made a new spreadsheet that will find 2.5% below and above the market price of any item on Runescape. The Buy and Sell prices also take into account how much the item rose or fell that day. If it rose 5gp the buy price will be 5gp less and vice versa. Sometimes the buy price is below Minimum price or the Sell price is above Maximum price. If this happens either don’t buy that day (because it means the item is either crashing or going up a lot) or buy at Minimum/Maximum price if you dare.
Another note: If the item doesn’t buy instantly at Market Price that is often a sign to buy a bit above market price, regardless of what the Recommended Buy Price is.

Long-term Runescape Investment Clan (500mil+)

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m already running a (I like to think unique) post-dump clan which has been very successful and any of the members will vouch for my integrity as a merchanter.
Now I’m looking to start up a new long-term Runescape Investment Clan.
- It is exclusively for people with 500m or more (may eventually be raised to 1bil or more).
- It will be nothing like a buy-out clan. We’ll buy items that we think are going to go up over a period of time and ones which we can invest a lot of money into at whatever price we can get for i.e. not necessarily at max.
- There will be no rules. Not everybody has to join in on the items we do and each person is free to sell at whatever time he pleases. We also will probably not have ranks.
- I won’t solely be the one who finds the items; we’ll all work together to find good items.
The idea for this Clan came from my realization that it it becomes more and more difficult to do any sort of flipping/fundamental merchanting when the amount of money one has reaches over 500M. So I want to try out a (as far as I know) new and legitimate (that is, nothing like those annoying buyout clans) method of Merchanting that is also not terribly time consuming for those sort of people.
I’m not going to be able to do this on my own. First I want to see if anybody has any interest in it. If more than five people join then I’ll start it up. Fill out the application below and post it in a comment if you’re interested. After you’ve been accepted, add me as a friend (I have P chat ‘on’) and tell me you’re one of the people who got accepted.

Join TedBundty’s Runescape Cornering/Post-Dump Buyout Clan!

“Post-Dump Buyout Clan?!! What!!! How does it work?!!” Yea… I figured you would ask… well the first thing you should know is that this kind of merchanting is aimed for people with over 50M, otherwise you’re probably best just doing Solo-Merchanting/Fundamental merchanting. <– (Make sure you’ve read this guide)
here are 2 pics for you to get the basic idea of how the clan works, then I’ll explain more.
A few days later…
So basically here’s what happens…
1. An item is bought out by a Buyout Clan (like smokin mils/2lum/chessy018) and goes up.
2. The clan dumps the item.
3. We wait until the item’s Minimum price get’s close to it’s usual market price.
4. Then, when it’s close, we start buying the Item at Minimum Price, and keep doing this until we can’t get anymore at Minimum Price.
5. Some random Runescape players try to buy the item cuz they need it for some reason, but can’t get any at Minimum price (because we bought them all out at that price), so they buy it for a higher price.
6. Random Buyout clans and Merchanter’s might also buy a bunch of the item at Max.
7. We wait a little bit and then sell it to the #5 and #6 people for a higher price than we bought.
Here’s another example of what we could’ve done with Rune Boots over the past 180 days… I’m not sure if it’s helpful or not but you can look at it – Rune Boots
In short, it’s kinda like doing what Buyout Clan leaders do. Buying a bunch of an item at Min Price while it’s falling, and then selling it at a higher price to other people.
